One upon a time, and in another country, the “Caïque” used to sail on a sea loaded with history.
It is in the 9th century that it appeared: it was either a fishing boat or else it shipped goods or passengers.
The Caïque can be found in all the countries of the Mediterranean Basin.
It's name comes from Turkey.

Using several names in the Mediterranean basin, the “Caïque” is still built in Greece and in Turkey, in a traditional way. It is a light, quick, practical boat with an easy access to ports (harbours).
You are virtually invited to visit it.
Welcome on board.
